Located in the heart of Chicago, The Seneca is a 100-year-old multifamily property thoughtfully repositioned through a refined Art Deco lens that honors its historic architecture while elevating market appeal. Little Black House introduced bold, hospitality-driven design moments throughout the lobby and clubhouse, layering emerald velvets, dramatic lighting, oxblood tones, and jewel-inspired finishes to create a rich, immersive amenity experience. Architectural elements - including the arched elevator lobby ceiling - were amplified with graphic detailing and statement materials that reinforce the building’s legacy while modernizing its presence. The result is a distinctive, design-forward amenity environment that strengthens brand identity, enhances resident experience, and positions this historic asset to compete in today’s luxury rental market.
